Cititec are partnered with a marketplace platform in Berlin who are due to go through a pretty sizeable growth period in the second half of the year but need to make some key senior hires first to steer them in the right direction

 

They are building out their data function with a couple of senior hires including looking for a lead machine learning engineer to be heavily involved in the long term strategy for ML and how it will be adopted by the business going forward, as well as leading and scaling out the ML/DS team further.

 

 

Key Skills & Experience Required:

 

• Strong Machine Learning/Algorithm engineering background with solid software engineering principles
• Experience working for another marketplace platform or experience working on recommendation/personalisation projects and putting these into production.
• Experience leading a team previously (including line management)
• Experience with Python and other ML frameworks i.e Tensorflow, Pytorch etc
• Other tech useful to have would be Airflow, Kubernetes, Spark and GCP.
