Production Control Analyst - Financial Services - Connecticut - Permanent Role

 

Cititec have partnered with a financial services firm who are looking for a Production Control Analyst to join their Connecticut office. This is to join an existing team of 2 based in the UK, and you will be working in shifts, with this role designated to cover the "late" UK shift. The objective of the role is to ensure the smooth running of all the automated production processes as well as the general well-being of all main services. You will be running various daily manual production processes such as ad-hoc requests from the business, responding to job alerts, monitoring market data feeds and running end of day processes for APAC, EMEA and the US.

 

 

Key skills required:

• 4+ years of experience working in an IT environment within financial services
• Knowledge of various batch scheduling software - Cron, Autosys etc.
• Experience with various shell scripting software
• Basic understanding of database functionality
• Understanding of a financial services organisation
• Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
• Excellent understanding of financial technology and applications
• Good communicator, adaptable, needs to be able to work well alone and as part of a team

 

This role can be remote initially however in the future, however moving forward the role will be split between home and office working.
