Description

You will lead the departments of Purchasing, Orders and Warehousing as well as Quality Management
-
You are accountable for our global ERP system (Navision) and continuously improve the processes in the system by acting as the interface between the business, your departments, and the ERP system and involve ERP consultants whenever necessary
-
You are responsible for monitoring, securing, and managing global inventory sourcing supported by state-of-the-art tools and concepts to provide forecasted levels to support growth

You optimize global requirements and short-term fluctuations in the warehousing with a sound understanding of market dynamics and component leadtimes while supporting internal and external customers

You will have experience in dealing with global component suppliers understanding their requirements and processes while negotiating returns/stock rotations and favorable terms for the organization

You form creative solutions to address over inventory or excess/slow moving devices optimizing sellable inventory levels

You consistently develop the operational strategy and continuously improve the daily processes

You further develop quality strategy and management, and ensure supplier and ISO-audits
-
You develop a customs clearance strategy ensuring all processes are customs and tariff compliant across the entire distribution chain.
Responsibilities

You have gained considerable work experience in a senior role in operations and distribution

You have gained first experience managing a team and have excellent leadership skills
-
You know of regulatory requirements and guidelines, especially in quality management and customs processing

You have a strong business acumen and understand the impact of operations and distribution on the overall organization

You have excellent data analysis and performance skills and operational metrics (KPI) and especially synthesis thereof
-
You develop and create management reporting of optimal asset management to the management
-
You have proven experience with ERP systems (ideally Navision), ideally with some implementation touchpoints
-
You have strong skills in relevant tools and software applications (Excel, pivot tables, etc.) and have the ability to keep it smart and simple

You speak English and German fluently
