Description

- Identifying, prioritizing and recruiting merchants.
- Onboarding merchants to the e-commerce platform.
- Drive and manage the merchant partnership and experience end-to-end, including continuous merchant development.
- Collaborate with other functional teams within e-commerce to unlock merchants' potential on platform, drive growth and adoption of products.
- Utilise data proficiently to deeply understand pain points, formulate business requirements, identify opportunities and prioritise solutions.

Responsibilities

- 5-7 years experience of relatable in-category management, at an e-commerce company, a large retailer, or agency side with specialism in category.
- Strong knowledge of the merchant landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation.
- Practical experience in the social commerce, content marketing, influencers, and creativity in the categories.
- Well connected to key sellers within the industry
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Customer service orientation and experience working in a client facing capacity.
- A commercial mindset with a history of delivering against stretching performance goals.
- Strong understanding and experience using social media platforms, especially TikTok, preferably in a professional capacity.
