Program Manager- Utility Energy Services Contract

Description

  • Develop a long-term strategy to expand Schneider Electric’s reach and market share for UESCs
  • Expand relationships with existing utility partners
  • Identify and engage new potential utility partners that are aligned with Schneider Electric’s brand, values, and approach
  • Develop and maintain records of utilities, contacts, service territories, potential opportunities, and Master Service Agreement status
  • Work with utility partners to develop strategic market plans to drive new business
  • Report and collaborate on prospective opportunities to Business Development Managers
  • Understand agency-specific approach to UESCs and coordinate with Business Development Managers to position Schneider Electric for success
  • Contribute to go/no go reviews of issued UESC Notices of Opportunity based on market knowledge
  • Participate in proposal and interview win strategy and competitive analysis
  • Develop proposal and interview content
  • Generate and drive utility engagement plan during project development, implementation, and performance periods for UESC projects
  • Brief Core Team on utility information, key stakeholders, and project expectations
  • Act as a utility advocate
  • Work with broader Schneider Electric business through utility relationships / contracts to extend product and services opportunities
  • Attend tradeshows, events, seminars, etc. and actively participate in industry associations and organizations to build market knowledge and Schneider Electric's brand awareness
  • Adhere to Schneider Electric's regulations for ethics, safety, and code of conduct in all personal and professional activities

Responsibilities

Four (4) year college degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Federal ESPC/UESC market, particularly in a sales capacity
  • Existing relationships with utilities, DOE FEMP, and federal government performance contracting program offices preferred
  • Ability to navigate complex federal, state, and utility regulations
  • Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time, including internationally
