Product Manager/Senior Product Manager

Description

  • Manage marketing initiatives for assigned product(s) including field promotional materials, patient education, professional programs and advertising
  • Interface with advertising and medical communication agencies and with the field sales organization to assess needs
  • Lead new material through concept, development, medical/legal/regulatory review, production and dissemination to end user
  • Conduct market research initiatives, forecasting, and development of annual budgets
  • Assist with development of annual marketing plans and quarterly plans of action in collaboration with the field sales group and the Director of Marketing
  • Assist in the development of brand strategy, positioning, messaging and tactical plan
  • Collect and analyze inputs from market research, third party reports, field intel and KOL interactions to develop and refine product promotional plans
  • Collaborate with sales training to ensure optimal rollout and execution of new materials/initiatives
  • Perform commercial planning activities for assigned product(s), including: unique insights by customer segment, treatment algorithm, messaging, positioning, strategy and cross functional support
  •  Develop strong relationships with thought leaders and organize advisory boards to elicit feedback on key commercial issues
  •  Lead agency partners to deliver projects aligned to strategy, on time and in budget
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
  • Product Manager level: 3 years’ pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience
  • Senior Product Manager level: 5 years’ pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience
  • Self-motivated, willing to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Motivated by team success and seek to develop collaborative relationships from internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Master’s degree (MA/MS/MBA)
  • 3 years’ Sales experience
  • 3 years’ Product launch experience
